In light of the circumstances, what may seem absurd to some, to me is fully deserved. with regard to honors and recognition ...this is not just an animal....this was an officer of the law killed in the line of duty...and every tribute and honor is justified...and like with every other story of a cop killed in the line of duty that sickens me, I will feel the same way regarding this story in equal fashion...I weep for you, Rocco...and for those close to you...This town is less safe, now, with you taken from us....[V][V][V][V][V][V][V][V][:(][:(][:(][:(][:(][:(]............

At first glance, when I heard the flags were at half staff, I thought this was a little excessive. At second glance, Congresspersons get it regardless of what they've done for the country. So, heck, let the dog who was serving the people have his moment too.
