Mine was on DRAFT! It was actually called Stone Smoked Vanilla Bean Porter ... I just assumed it was an alias. It was AWESOME! I'd attach the photo but don't know how with this site. Maybe a completely new beer ... I'll FB you the photo.

On the side bar, not sure actually ... Should warrant its own rate page. I'm going to look and see if it's distinguishable on the "other" sites.

Looks like the other beer was called: Stone Smoked Porter with Vanilla Beans, Toasted Coconut, and Espresso Beans It is found here: http://beerpal.com/Stone-Smoked-Porter-with-Vanilla-Beans%2C-Toasted-Coconut%2C-and-Espresso-Beans-Beer/49159/ That doesn't sound like a valid entry, probably morphed a few times as it was updated, then eventually deleted. The problem is, when someone called the Coconut a duplicate, it combined the ratings. It isn't an alias problem. I would recommend adding the correct old beer back to the site "Stone Smoke Porter (Espresso Beans)" if that's what you're saying... Or "...(Coconut Espresso).... And that beer will get approved if it is real. Then you can re-rate the beer. You will have to beermail flashpro to delete the duplicate entry under the Vanilla Beans entry. Crew can't do that.

Yeah...I'm still not seeing why a smoked vanilla porter with two other ingredients would be deleted and combined with the base beer that does not have those ingredients. (I think) it was approved at one point, as it was entered, and is obviously different. if the wording was an issue it should or could have been edited when approved. it's not a big deal, just annoying when someone takes the time to add and rate a beer, it gets added (or who knows, maybe it never was but it wasn't deleted for a loooooong time after rating) and it ends up combined with an obviously different beer. Thomas, to answer your question...there are many variants of this beer on other sites. Movin on. If Flash sees this forum he can delete the 4.3. Or not. I'm not going to re-enter and rate a beer that I already have added and rated.

No idea what happened with the previous beer. I could easily undelete it and rename it, that's a fine idea. You'd have to cut and paste your rating back to it. I'd then beermail flash for you and ask him to delete the duplicate rating that would then remain in the wrong spot otherwise. Just say the word. My proposal would be to undelete: Stone Smoked Porter with Vanilla Beans, Toasted Coconut, and Espresso Beans And rename it: Stone Smoked Porter (Coconut Espresso) or Stone Smoked Porter (Toasted Coconut and Espresso Beans) You choose. Sorry, I don't know how the error happened in the first place, but it's worth fixing for accuracy.

Right on Eagle! Seems like a legit solution. After all, accuracy matters. Undermines rest of variants on this site of we only recognize them arbitrarily.

I'm going to try this agian, but I still have to have vanilla beans in the name as that is the base before toasted coconut and espresso were added...so it's gonna be long. Again.
