We've been pretty aware of this for a while but thanks for posting. Fat Heads makes some pretty solid beers. I personally am pretty excited about Fat Heads entering the Portland market. There is always room for more good beer.

Fat Heads was a taproom / bottle shop pub when I went there in 2006. I liked it (http://www.beerpal.com/compass/retailerinfo.asp?ID=7503). When did they start brewing and offering their own beers?

Well, I am seeing about 20 beers in the Fat Head portfolio including the Head Hunter fretwalker mentioned (http://www.beerpal.com/Fat-Heads-Brewery-&-Saloon-Brewery/8929/,http://www.beerpal.com/Fat-Heads-Brewery-&-Saloon-Brewery/8929/). But none of them have been around for long. I guess they are brewed in oHIo and trucked to PGH?

Head Hunter is an IPA of epic proportions.

I now want. First time in a while I'm eager to grab a new beer. Well, eager may be a bit strong of a term, but I will keep my eyes open anyway.

If any of you guys find yourself in P-Burgh for whatever reason, let me know, and I will show you where it all began....you haven't lived until you have had a headwich!.....mmmmm-mmm, tastey....The sad part is, the South Side of PGH has been getting a bad wrap these last couple of years, with much in the way of drama, hooliganism, drunk driving episodes, and believe it or not, shennenigans involving Steeler and Pitt football players...[:0][:0][:0][:0].....So if your in town and want to go, let's make it for sometime in the late afternoon, early evening....(I must be getting old or something!)......[:D]......

Foamy...you went there in 06, and didn't look me up?....DUDE!....It's only been within the last 4 or five years or so that they have gone the brewpub route...by opening up the Cleveland branch....Haven't been following them that closely, because of what I said before about the South Side of PGH...I can't remember my last trip to Fatheads, and the host of other places down there....When the temperatures become bearable again, I shall venture that way as soon as I can.....
