Who are you pulling for?

Non-Beer Discussion by SLOWRUNNER77

As the MLB season winds down, I find myself enjoying the Pirates rise from the ashes this year. They're fun to watch, and Andrew McCutchen is about as fun a player and likeable a star as you're gonna find these days. Here's hoping they represent the NL in the Series. Ironically, if it ain't them in the NL, I'd love to see St Louis in there...if only because their cornerstone bolted for more $$$ and is stuck on a crap team in Anaheim (as is Josh Hamilton after ditching Texas). In the AL my interest and fandom begins and ends with the Bronx Bombers, but with them having more guys in the infirmary than on the field many days, I'd be shocked if they make the dance, let alone get out of the wild card round...

Me to, Heem....[;)][:D]....And congrats on a well played series...and congrats to the Red Sox Nation..... Ya know, around here there is this hatred for Boston....that I can't figure out, with regard to baseball especially.....Football and Hockey, I can understand, but Baseball???.....The Red Sox never consistently beat up on the Bucs.....I guess some of these yinzer idiots are still bitter about 1903.....[B)][B)][B)][:p][:p][:p][?][?][?][:o)][:o)][:o)]......

Didn't go 7, but a good series, nonetheless. The Sox O just woke up, did what they did all season. Future still looking good for STL.

Robin Thicke's ubiquitous song, "Blurred Lines" sounds a lot like Marvin Gaye's 1977 hit, "Got to Give it Up." So Thicke is suing Gaye's family. Welcome to the new world. http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/2013/08/19/213471083/robin-thickes-song-sounds-like-marvin-gaye-so-thicke-is-suing-gayes-family

Dude, that made my morning!...So much so, that I e-mailed it to my trekie buddy who's wife thinks she's a man. It will make his day. Nothing like a little Treking and Twerking to get your day started... [:0][:0][:0][:0]....
