transport of hops via plane

General Beer Discussion by MATTFUNGUS

Has anyone had any bad experiences transporting hops in their luggage (ie TSA slashed all their foil bags of hops)

Never tried... but I wouldn't put anything past those ridiculous TSA clowns.

If you're referring to flying back with hops from the NW, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it's clearly labeled, you'll be fine.

Renee is a wonderful person, whom I've had the pleasure of hanging out with at some of the Cleveland area tastings. Wishing here all the best. I scooped up a sixer of the new run when it came out a while back, and while it wasn't bold compared to today's standards I can only imagine how eye opening and pleasing the original New Albion Ale must have been decades ago.
