Watered down beer?

General Beer Discussion by GEZATRON

Um, how exactly does one water down something that's practically water to begin with? http://www.komonews.com/news/national/Suit-alleges-Bud-Michelob-beer-was-watered-down--193361881.html

Because they do. They brew a higher gravity beer, add water to dilute thus a "light" beer. Ambulance chasers don't chase unless they know there's a payoff at the end. Tomorrow's headline will read "Attorney's seek class action lawsuit because beer has calories and may cause health problems...and it doesn't make you a stud-muffin that attracts the ladies like it shows in the commercials"

True. I still don't know what to make of the "Beer lovers across the country" part. I mean, if you love beer, you don't drink Bud, right? I think "Average cheep beer DRINKERS across the country" would be a bit more accurate.
