It was smart for them to age this 2-years to let the hops fade. If not, and the hops were fresh...could be a train-wreck. A great candidate for BA'ing? mm..ok

Obviously they're going to age it for a while. And yes, a great candidate for the barrels. Sometimes a little depth is good. Not just sweet on sweet. A little bit of hops coming through the barreling is a beautiful thing. The last incarnation of the Anniversary Old Rasputin was the best for just that reason.

i remember when they announced they were doing this, can't wait! i just wonder what the size of the release though...

Yeah, "limited" can mean all kinds of things. I do think at least a little is going out to all Sierra Nevada Markets, though.
