SAVOR 2012
Beer Events by FOAMDOME
I just scored a ticket to the hottest craft beer event in the Universe: SAVOR 2012. I appeal to the BeerPal crowd for some advice. What would be your Top 10 beers from the 74 x 2 = 148 available? http://www.savorcraftbeer.com/ I went two years ago, and managed to sample 30 beers before stumbling blissfully toward the Metro for a ride home. Note each sample of beer is paired with a small serving of something interesting to nosh. There's also an oyster bar and an artisan cheese table. Heaven.

Awesome relay of your magical event, Dave. I can sense the joy you got from your time there and that is wonderful to hear. That's what life's about my friend! Can't wait to see pics and blog posts :)

So....... Foam........ will SAVOR nudge you back into some recent reviews? [:p] The BP World want to know.[^]
Ha! I did actually grade all the beers I tasted, but I do not think it makes sense to rate them. I mean, my judgement on the first 2 oz sample would be based on an extremely limited interaction. My judgement on the 40th sample would be laughably suspect! But yes, now that I am RETIRED and taking time off this summer, it makes sense to get caught up on some ratings.

Hilarious! A foam dome and colorful fungi! Plus a hill-mountain, gnomes, and a tragic acid trip. Good stuff!

...and the math geek in me rejoices. "That's 1.62 beers per hour, more than 1.5 "Better get a cab," but less than 3.0 "Forgot where I live." Thankful for Metro!"
