Best Beer I've Ever Had

As a result of posting my last post of the "favorite beer" thread, I decided, why not? I realize that even the distinction of "favorite" vs. "best" may not break it down far enough for some people as I know that I said on several occassions, "That's the best damn beer I've ever had", when in essence it was more of the circumstances surrounding the beer than perhaps the actual beer itself. Chime in.

damnit...I still can't pick one. It's driving me crazy!!!!! [;)] short list, Tap: Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, Deschutes Mirror Mirror (one particular batch only, though) bottle: Rasputin 14, Firestone Walker 13, 2007 Deschutes Dissident, Sam Adams Chocolate Bock (the big bottles...smoother).

I'll keep my responses to just 2012, so I will say my favorite beer of 2012 was Green Flash's Rayon Vert. I could drink this 24/7. The best beer so far was Hoppin' Frog DORIS Double Imperial Stout. I was good with a bottle...lol.

Rayon Vert is an amazing brew, I refer to it as "Affordable Orval"

Best Beer I ever had is a toughie, but the 1st one that comes to mind is Bourbon Barrel Barleywine by Clevaland Chophouse........there is a time and a place for everything, and every so often it's all aligned just right.
