beer filters

Non-Beer Discussion by MATTFUNGUS

I recently smelled beer on my way past the Hinterland brewery and realized that the smell of fresh IPA was eminating from their spent filtration mats stacked outside their the dumpster. I took one back to work with me, setting it in the window with hopes that I would dry it out in the sunlight, take it home and clean it and use it for filtering beer. It smelled heavenly, like malt on one side and hops on the other. In about half an hour my office smelled of a great ipa beer. This got me thinking that I could make them into little x-mas trees and have beer scented air freshners. What would you use a spent beer filtration mat for? Do you already use them for something? Would you want a beer scented air freshner?

And to make it even better, substitute BACON for beer and then we're talking. I do have a bacon air freshener. Bacon or beer filters would work. yes. this is good...
