Agreed. If they're nice to you, then something is DEFINITELY up.

Hmm... What's wrong with me? I've been to FFF twice in the last 18 months, and was treated nicely both times. The bartender could've used some help, he seemed rushed, but never rude. Jeez, do I look too old and frail to be abused like everybody else?
Been a few years since I was at the brewpub or bought any of their crazy pricey beer. Every employee I met at the brewery before the brewpub, at the brewpub and even in other settings was condescending and rude. A glaring exception in the world of craft beer. They lost me as a paying customer years ago.

THIS. This was my experience. I don't need them to hold my hand or say thank you and please. I just want a beer when I want a beer. So, that being said, it exceeded my expectations because I was already jaded by their legendary rudeness. My bartender was helpful, prompt, funny. Had very good conversation with the guy sitting next to me, Jim. Talked to him for over an hour and anyone who knows me knows that is easy for me to do. FFF - Very good beer, the food was good but just a tad overpriced, liked the Metal playing, really liked the tats and beards. Cool place. Probably because, like I overheard heybeerman saying at PfoxyJohn's IrishPfist, I'm an "old guy."

Well of course I meant that as a term of reverance, however, I had to get a younger person out of your chair that didn't want to move so I also had to use words that would make him feel guilty.[:D] How about this next time "Hey, get the hell outta that chair, don't you know it belongs to the beer god BluLou??" I love self-mockery as a form of comedy, done well here, but I appreciate the subsequent comments more. "No ladies", when was drinking ever about women?
