Coors Light Iced T
General Beer Discussion by BLUESANDBARBQ
Why? [B)][xx(] I know, I know... it's all about market share and $s. Do Canadians need this unleashed upon them? Do Canadians drink a lot of Iced Tea? Molson Coors launching Coors Light Iced T in Canada

No offense taken. It probably IS released in the South; South Canada.
The original Press Releases all had a date of April 1st on them, suggesting that it would be a cruel April Fools joke. Unfortunately, tis not the case and it will be unleashed to the masses on April 2nd. Sadly, I can see most of my work colleagues gulping this stuff down in buckets.........they couldn't get enough Bud Light with Lime and being in the team that worked on the Molson/Coors merger and the creation of MillerCoors..........drinking an A-B product was not looked upon kindly!

It's bad, and not in a gangsta rap slang type thingie way either....it's a bad joke of a beer.

Wow, this is a great idea. You know, I can't tell you how many times I have been in a bar and someone that ordered a beer also asked to have the glass topped off with tea...[;)][xx(] The few malternative hard iced tea drinks I have tried have been disgusting as well as expensive. Did not taste like any tea I have tried before.
Any tea notes in this awful awful awful stuff were muted at best. Disgusting is a great way to describe this as well. I don't drainpour beers unless they are really really bad and this ended up down the drain. It's $2.35 wasted I'll never live down. To answer Lou's questions... Do Canadians need this unleashed upon them? Nope - but as LITY mentions above, Bud Light with Lime sold out in several parts of Canada in less than a week....Canadians gravitate to garbage. Do Canadians drink a lot of Iced Tea? Not that I'm aware of.
