BARber shop

General Beer Discussion by FRETWALKER

New business starting up in my neighborhood, a barber shop with plans to add a beer bar/waiting room/deli in the back in the next few months. Anything similar in your areas?

man this looks so good and yet I be too worried that I would not have enough sense after waiting to judge whether I had a good haircut or not. This link led me to find out that there was still a rahr brewery still in existence. Originally this was a brewery in Manitowoc, near Green Bay in the late 1800s. My favorite slogan of theirs was "The best beer in any case."

I wish they would! The proprietors have no clue about craft beer... he's a whiskey drinker who claims to be allergic to hops, and his wife is a vodka drinker who couldn't stand women in beauty salons. They're early enough in the planning process where I might be able to exert a little influence on the beer menu. Wish me luck! Only one bar within 2 miles offers any craft beer at all, and damn little, at that. I fear it's a BudLight neighborhood at the core, and economic reality will rule.

Oh, yeah, the haircut yesterday made me look my age, and that will never do!
