Moving to Portland

General Beer Discussion by PHISHPOND417

In April, my wife and I will be leaving the fresh dairy air, Green Bay Packers and the tastiest cheese on earth for the ultra cool, beer saturated city of Portlandia. I've already contacted a few Beerpals about our cross-country trip, but I'd love to meet up with any and all of you along the way. The last time I did a road trip out west it was before I was a member of Beerpal. This time around I hope to hoist a pint or two with some of you. Let me know if you're up for it! [8D]

I'd be up for a pint with you, but I'm a little off the beaten path between Green Bay and Portland... what I'd euphemistically call the "scenic route". Best wishes!

You're MOVING there?! Awesome. I'm definitely up for a meet-up if your as far south as Reno/Sacramento/SF.

Frick, your football team loses only a season after winning the SB and you're moving out? Cripes, that's terrible fandom. Hehehee. Well, if you're headed West through Delaware, lemme know. But, Portland Maine is probably not what you were thinking....

Suggested route starts EAST and loops through DC! You are welcome here, and you might as well check out the Right Coast before you make all kinds of irrational claims about the mythical left. Consider an All BeerPal Skype virtual pint-hoisting send-off.

Well, of course, y'all have already been to Tennessee. And I have been up to Wisconsin and will again. NOW I will have to visit two of my most favorite people in Portland, The City of Roses, Beertown. It's exciting for you guys I'm sure. I look forward to reading about your music and beer adventures and discoveries. And I look forward to a Beer Trip weekend sometime in the fairly near future after y'all get settled in and scope out some great places. Maybe we'll coordinate a PfoxyJohn, Bluesandbarbq, Kinger and lots of other BeerPals visit and meet up! I will have to bring some of that good ole Tennessee Mountain Dew.[:)]

I was just thinking the same thing. Then I REALLY could have gotten on your ass about the site. [;)]
