Do I see a bottle of Surly Darkness in Kong's right hand?
I was kinda thinking you would Photoshop it in, bro! I am more than willing to be wrong if you are willing to manufacture the truth!

Diligent research, my fine friend. I conclude that Stoutlover's hands are big enough to hold ALL of the 5.0 rated Imperial Stouts. He is, after all, "husky and amorous" and THE StoutLover! Thank you, sir, may I have another.

I would, but then that may encourage Hollywood to continue making boring books about sports into sports-themed chick movies (see Blind Side) that I don't want to see...especially when it's about how poor my A's were/are. Besides, who the hell makes a movie about a team, that loses in the playoffs? "Hey, let's write a script about the 1982 St. Louis Cardinal's when they lost in the first round to the Packers! I'm sure we can weave a story about Neil Lomax, Stump Mitchell and the players strike into a feel-good story!" No thanks.

Hell yeah nice work! Celebrate the feat by getting drunk and seeing the movie about the amazing life and times of Billy Beane starring Brad Pitt :)

Ha! For what it's worth, the Charlie Sheen-lead Indians didn't really win s*@# in Major League either, but nobody seemed to notice. Of course, that wasn't based in reality, either. If this movie had come out when the "moneyball" A's were still competitive, I'd go see it.

Yeah...sabermetrics. Billy Beane gets all the attention but he wasn't the first to use the analysis of baseball stats to sign "affordable/productive players". Guess he was the first though to make people think he invented it? He's been our GM for 14 or 15 years and how many championships has it won us? Zero. How many playoff series have we won in those years? 1 Yay Moneyball.
