What an amazing beer day...

General Beer Discussion by SUDSMCDUFF

. . . . . ...today, as in every 2nd sunday- i went to a beer tasting i help organize.. there were 7 of us, quite small for our monthly tasting but i bought a couple of '94 thomas hardy's to start off with - they were amazing but that was just the start.. some of the highlights- Bruery Salt of the Earth Cisco Cherry Woods Sour ale Cantillon 1900 Goose Island Vanilla Bourbon County and about 15 awesome others, but the real reason i started this thread.. an early 1980's Westvleteren 12 ..which was amazing!!! the complexity and how well it aged was truly fantastic- a beer pretty much as old as me and it was like a fine port.. . . man, i am one happy camper....... .. . You could have stopped at the Cantillon 1900 and I would be happy.
