Attention Drummers.....
Non-Beer Discussion by OIZNOP
Been noticing that when I am in the middle of a set for a great length of time, my right arm (as I am a right handed drummer) begins to swell up, stiffen and I feel like I am losing my grip on the stick...What can I do to preven this as this is concerning????....Am I hitting things too hard???.....Help!...I don't want to be in the middle of a song and lose my grip......[}:)][:(][?]......

Drink a lot of alcohol and or take massive amounts of drugs like all the great drummers do. You won't care if your arm blows up like a blimp, but you'll be playing great!

That's sage advice for many issues - drummer or not...[:p]

You need to practice more. Or work out. Or both. Spend like 5-10 minutes doing rolls any time you get a chance. You'll notice a difference after a short time.
