all they did was add 'old chico brand' to the name... thats what i heard from my SN rep... was hoping it would make it to TX.. i love kristal weizens, but reading the reviews, not that sad...
Don't know that I'd ever choose a Kristalweizen over a Hefeweizen, but stranger things have happened. Seems like there have been some recent issues with Sierra Nevada beer name entries (ahem beer camp *cough *cough), perhaps the California representative or another admin can sort this one out.
Yeah, tell me about it...they're becoming a little more like Rogue (renaming the same beer a dozen different times) every day.

wouldn't quite call them Rogue-ish... maybe if SN pale was called 12 different things...

Bottled, yep. Haven't had a chance to alias it to the original entry just yet.

No real confusion, other than them adding "Old Chico Brand" to the name. On tap in Chico, you ask for Crystal Wheat. In the bottle, you get Old Chico Brand Crystal Wheat. Don't know why they didn' keep things as is, but like Kinger aluded too...don't know why they don't keep their beers in the Beer Camp box the same as what they call it on tap.
