Long time reader, first time post!
General Beer Discussion by BRADYRENNIE
Hello BeerPal friends. Like my subject lines states, looong time reader first time poster. Just wanted to finally say hi, "HI" to all and report some good beer news for me and anyone else that likes it! The wife and I are talking about taking a trip to Ireland in July. We are looking into going to Dublin and the surrounding area and of course for me, I will be going to the Guinness Brewery for a little sip of that wonderful stout! YES! [:D] Is there any members from the Dublin, Ireland area? If so, maybe we can meet for a good local beer and sit back and chat it up some? [8D] Looks like we maybe there around mid-July. Let me know! Thnaks, Brady

Been there and had a great time. But, don't believe the Guinness hype that it is SOOOO much better there. Taps here in the states are quite nice. The variety of different Guinness formulations is neat to experience. Be sure to hit the Bull and Castle in Dublin for some brews. A fun time. Enjoy!

Welcome, Brady! The Guinness tour is awesome, enjoy! http://www.guinness-storehouse.com/en/Index.aspx?gclid=CLq0sqSV8KgCFRIq7AodD2FSIg While in Dublin, you may wish to take a literary pub crawl. After all, what is whiskey but distilled beer? Stumble from one pub to the next and see where the likes of Behan, Joyce, Swift, and Wilde hung out. http://www.dublinpubcrawl.com/index.htm Have a great time!

Plans changed...Not going to Ireland. Why you may ask? Well, I was involved in an accident on my motorcycle on June 8. I was in traffic, going only 10mph and this dude in a 'PT Loser' crossed a solid white line and came into my lane. I braked hard and my rear tire locked, I released the rear brake and reapplied, then my rear tire gained traction, the bike lunged left, my momentum took me to the right and over the bars I went. Landed on my shoulder and broke my right collarbone. I've been out of commission for a month now. So the trip is off...for now! The wife and I will make it to Ireland, not sure when now.
Glad to hear you are alive at least...motorcycles are real good at killing people.

Well, not to sure about that statement. I know unaware people in cars kill motorcyclists and that dumb people on motorcycles kill themselves, usually doing stupid things. But, all in all I know what you mean! lol
