i go to RB and BA to get a better idea of a beer's score when there are few (or no) reviews for a beer on this site. bigger sample size. but that's about it these days.

Interesting to see the "no tolerance policy" is still going strong over there. I have a not-so-great history with the Bros and I've never been an active member on BA! That site feels very controlled and more like going to work with the boss looming around every corner. But some people seem to like that approach. Oh well to each their own I guess. BP feels more like a local bar with people who appreciate good beer but not too good for a pale lager. People who like to talk about beer but not 100% of the time. That is certainly more my speed. Cheers!

I had an account there maybe 8 years ago and then stopped going there completely. I only look at RB for score comparisons now. There was a time before BA got really big when they had a filter for the words "beerpal" and "ratebeer" in their forum. I don't know if it's there anymore.
