Not a single bad one has passed these lips. Just a couple ok brews, a few good, several very good and a few elites. This particular one is on deck!

I hate to be the one lone standout but how do you explain the peroxide or medicinal smell and flavor? I've had other smoked beers that I've really enjoyed that do not have this characteristic. I found it to be a detraction from the beer and it made my rating lower.

I'm not saying it's a bad or horrible or undrinkable beer. I found the peroxide more in the scent than the flavor, but I just couldn't get past the smell. Drinking it from the bottle made it better.

i didn't get any o' that in the aroma or flavor.

I thought this beer was pretty good but nothing too special and subpar compared to most of the other Unplugged stuff I've had. I admit, I'm not really all that into the smoked stuff though and it seemed pretty right on as far as the style. I agree with eaglefan; I think NG has a lot of mediocre beers (mostly the regular lineup) but they really don't make a bad beer and certainly aren't afraid to branch out; covering a wide variety of styles, which is just awesome. Love the brewery. Hate the lack of distribution. Fortunately, folks from WI seem very generous to trade their NG stuff!
