used my wife's upcoming 30th to get some and tried it last night. nice, nothing too special. grassy hops, yes...but why is that not good? just ahint of smoke that became more evident at the end. for a brown - pretty nice.

Just found it on tap @ Bearden Beer Mkt in Knoxville - the ONLY place around here with it. That place is quite welcome for beer lovers. I got a growler filled of the Tumbler. Gonna really enjoy this one...

had one near room temp yesterday...kinda cool. usually i'll drink the lighter stuff a little colder, but the smoke aspect really shined at 60+ degrees.

.. . anyone try the 2011?? had a pint weeks back and now going through a sixer... pretty good, but seems maybe a bit dumbed down... ?

Yeah, had a few bottles a few weeks back. I didn't think it was any better than before, and maybe would drop it a point or two. It's a solid, solid beer and was happy to see the beautiful fall packaging at my store. I'm beginning to think of Fall when I see this, the same way I think of Christmas/New Years when I see the packaging for SN Celebration.
