Longest beer name

General Beer Discussion by FOAMDOME

Just curious, and it might be fun to see the responses: what is the longest beer name? I am looking for beers you've tried, or beers out of the BeerPal vault even if you have not tried them. If you know of a long-named beer that is missing from the vault, feel free to add it! The contest is for the most words in the name. Spell out the numbers when counting words, i.e., 21 is twenty one, two words. Winner gets fame and glory. My friend was telling me about the cigar he was enjoying: Perdomo Reserve 10 Year Anniversary Champagne Robusto. Now, I am not a smoker and I am not familiar with that cigar, but just hearing that seven word name captivated me.

Just saw that you finally tried this one. Did it take as long to drink it as it did to say it?[:D]

There's an entire segment of society who have no clue what this means or is. Just like singing "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" or "Auld Lang Syne"...gone with the sands of time...good beer?

It was a great beer. I've been wanting to try this for years and finally got to a month or so ago. Oh and Auld Lang Syne translates into literally "old long since". It's a Scottish song. I only know this because my Scottish cousin told me this.

Let's go order two at the local redneck bar and see if we get shot.

Damn. His name, is my name too.
Funny! I used to sing that song to my kids years ago. Will they sing it to theirs? Will theirs like it when I sing it to them? I dunno. Nothing lasts forever. We'll see...

I know better than to quarrel with a Scottsman, so I agree that "old long since" is the literal, word-by-word translation. I suspect that Rabbie Burns used the phrase, "For auld lang syne..." to mean, "For old time's sake." Or something like that!

Holy cow! By my count, 33 words and 44 syllables, and the new #1.
