In Reply To #11 You may love the Redsox, but until they win the whole thing, dont get too giddy... So who's going to win the Cy Young? My pick Santana, looks like a lock! Who are you going to pick? Pedro? Kissmybass

Pedro didn't put up the numbers for the cy young this year. That's cool, no big, hey where is santana right now? oh yeah he is a spectator. Schill is the man. I don't really care who wins the Cy, just so long as the yankees don't buy the winnner for next year.

In Reply To #12 It's got to be Johann. If the board picks Pedro, and still claims to not consider the playoffs, then it will be a huge sham. Pedro simply didn't have the numbers that Santana had this year.

In Reply To #14 ALright, I am a huge Pedro fan and he doesn't really deserve to be mentioned for the Cy Young. IT's between Santana and Schilling. ANd because they don't give extra points for pulling a Roy Hobbs with a blood stained uniform and dominating the Yankees in Game 6, it probably has to be Santana.

Santana for sure, Schill second. And oh by the way....no one here in Boston thinks Manny should've been WS MVP....IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE GUY PITCHING WITH HIS TENDON STAPLED TO HIS ANKLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Reply To #17 Congrats to Santana. He was by far the most complete pitcher this year. Crown: I agree that Mannyk should not have been WS MVP, but disagree with your Schilling pick. My WS MVP, and playoff MVP for that matter is Keith Foulke. He was the man. Awesome.

In Reply To #18 I didnt catch every inning of the World Series, so I really dont know. Schilling was so valuable in the ALCS but they werent going to lose with or without Schill once they got there. Sorry, I just can't give it to a RP unless it was save after save to win each game. My pick would have to be whoever had the highest BA in the series or if someone had a decent average and belted his share of HR's to blow open games. Sense the series was anti-climatic thats my reasoning. Happy to see you guys win though. Maybe there is hope in Cubbie Land? Not!!!!! KMA P.S. Its that damn goat I tell you...

In Reply To #19 Foulke was by far the most valuable player for the entire playoffs. He pitched in pretty much every game and didn't give up a run until that solo homer by Larry Walker. Foulke was one of the biggest reasons the sox won Game 4, 5 and 6. without Foulke they wouldn't have won the series. You guys talking about how schilling was so valuable in the ALCS... that was ONE game. And it wasn't until game 6. They had to win game 4 and 5 before then. In my opinion Foulke was the MVP and it is a no brainer.
