What do you drink to get drunk?

Non-Beer Discussion by E

I don't know if this has been posted, and is totally unlike me to even ask this question... and maybe that is why I have to even ask this question. What do you all drink to get drunk at a bar? I can't remember the last time I have done this. I usually go to Monk's and get what ever I feel like when going to bars. Or I go to brewpubs and get whatever I haven't had or whatever I really enjoy. But come saturday it's my bday, and unfortunately not going out with beer geeks, so brewpubs, and Monks are out of the question. I am trying to spend as little as possible, but bleh! I freakin hate swill more than I can describe! Is buying shots at a bar reasonable?

Some of the best times of your life are times when you sip on a few too many beer and get a little out of hand. To drink to get drunk definitely calls for some cheap beer, and a lot of bonging and shotguns. This way you get right pissed, giv'r 110% and just try hard out there.

Despite the fact that too much of drinking is absolutely not recommended sometimes it happens. And the best way (this best is quite equivocal) to do that is drinking vodka. More than that it works mixing everything what you have near by. But serious consequences are guaranteed [xx(]

When I go at it, I typically take an approach not unlike Cottrell. I start out with some hefty stuff, move onto my Boulevards and SNPAs and then onto beer pong...and then it gets hazy...

When I'm at the bar (night club) I tend to go for the swill (Molson Ex), I'll have the occasional rum and Coke or C.C. and Coke and yeah shooters are pretty common as a quick "get drunk" remedy. Seeing as I worked in the club I go to the most, Yagermeister is always a common one for this club, but I have a hard time with that one now as I've had quite a bit of it. If you need any shot ideas let me know, something hard, or soft, fruity, creamy, whatever it is, there's tons of combinations you can choose from.

OK , I'm OLD and this is not strictly an answer to your question but I promote "respect beer" Drink and enjoy but drink the good micro's and drink responsably.I think you would have a better memory of an enjoyable birthday. With that said(I was young too once)Go for the yeunglings and have a designated driver, after all we want you and your frinds OK the next morning. Paul
