Stone for EVERYONE!!
General Beer Discussion by COTTRELL
Quote of the year: "The new brewery will allow us to brew well over 200,000 barrels a year," said Stone Brewmaster and co-founder Steve Wagner. I really hope this means wider distribution, and maybe a distribution venture into the CT market (please please please!). Obviously they won't be brewing 200,000 bbls next year, but they will have the freedom to expand, and experiment even more than they do now. Awesome.

OK...seeing the reviews, I'm already licking my chops. Clash, when I go to Tn., it's usually to Nashville and from there to the Flying Saucer. I just looked at their menu and the only Stone I saw was IPA. Just to make me even more jealous, what other Stone brews are available and where?
In Reply To #3 Next time you're in TN, stop at every package store looking for this stuff. Or call around, then head up, you know, if you're the "plan ahead" type. I don't know how good TN's distributors are, but Arrogant Bastard, Double Bastard, Ruination, IPA, 7th Anniversary (soon to be 8th), should all be fairly easily found. If you're lucky the Vertical Epic 04.04.04. will still be sticking around. Happy hunting!
In Reply To #5 Yes the 8th anniversary will be out in August. I'll be at the 8th anniversary party myself, it'll give me a chance to see where the new brewery will be located since they are holding the party on the site where the new brewery will be built. Oh and here is a link to a full article on the brewery move: http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/business/20040622-9999-1b22stone.html
In Reply To #10 They can barely feed the crowd they have now. My guess is that they'll venture into a couple more states, but not too many. Mostly they'll just increase the amount that they ship to the states that they're already in. Of course, this is just speculation. Any increase in distribution will probably be pretty slow. Hopefully my pestering e-mails will convince them that CT should be the first on their "must-visit list."
