In Reply To #12 Haha, cool, I'll have to look for it. Only like a couple hours from CT. What kind of beer is it anyways? I'm always looking for suggestions. I actually have found a few that I've had to create, or that Scott hasn't had... just not too many :)

In Reply To #13 It's a doppelbock. I put a review up for it on beerpal not too long ago.

In Reply To #12 Your right I haven't had it but the doesn't mean I can't get it. Hartford, Conneticut, should be easy enough to find someone I know there. :)

In Reply To #16 Just a warning, if you trade for it and only get one bottle, you'll be kicking yourself. If you have a beer cellar, you'll REALLY be kicking yourself.

In Reply To #17 I wish I had a cellar, but I can't seem to keep from drinking any beer that ventures into my house. I'll keep in mind that I should get more than one bottle. I'm going to start setting up a trade very soon.

In Reply To #18 I agree. If I've got the beers then I'm going to drink them. I suppose there's nothing wrong with that though...

In Reply To #18 I cellar everything, and manage to not drink it. How? I buy more beer than I could possibly drink. It works out pretty well, I've got some 1996 Old Foghorns, a couple Unibroue 10's and 11's, some old Bigfoots, red-labelled Three Philosopher's, Newport Storm annual releases etc... I usually fail to save beers over a year and a half, but some of them I'm saving for special occasions. Some beers just beg to be cellared anyway. SA Double Bock, Brooklyn Monster Ale, Three Philosophers, and others. Not great fresh, but certainly incredible after some aging. Well, I'm not sure on the 3P's yet, but it seems like it will age well. Maybe I'll open a red label sometime soon. The difference in a fresh Sam Adams Double Bock and a 2 year old Sam Adams Double Bock is like the difference between night and day.

In Reply To #20 I'm closing in on all The Sam Adams but haven't had the Double Bock yet. Good? I live in the Boston area and haven't seen it. Course I'm thinking about doing the Sam Adams tour and just hitting all of them!

In Reply To #21 SA Double bock got one of my poorer reviews (below). I was really disappointed with it, after hearing it hyped up by some beer guru friends. Other people seem to have liked it, but I think it could really use some aging before it's considered a great beer. http://www.beerpal.com/beerinfo.asp?ID=40
