General Beer Discussion by MINGO51
I know most A/B products are considered terrible, but the bottom line is that they are the most readily availible beers anywhere. I personally think that Michelob amber bock is the best but I was wondering what some others think.

In Reply To #1 I have yet to try an AB product that meets my palates standards. Same goes for Coors, and Miller. Miller had a good thing going when Pierre Celis was working for them, but they blew that relationship. When it's time for crummy beer pong beer, I head for Pabst products. I'd rather not put my $12 into AB, Miller or Coors. Pabst isn't exactly small, but it's better than the aformentioned macros. As for Mich's Amber Bock, to call it a bock is a fucking crime.
I agree, there really is NO good AB product, but Amber Bock is a decent brew. If you haven't tried it on tap, do. It's better on tap than out of a bottle. It's usually one of the best beers on tap in places with standard (read: limited or only macro-brewed pisswater beers) fare.
