How many are in a case?
General Beer Discussion by HEEMER77
I have always assumed that a case of beer was a 24 pack for 12 oz. bottles and a 12 pack for bombers or 750's. Recently though, I have noticed many people refer to a 12 pack of 12 oz. bottles as a case. Is there a proper definition?

</font id="quote"></td></tr></table></blockquote id="quote">don't forget eric, you could've been talking to canadians, as we have 4 "cases' here, 6, 12, 24, and 28, all in 12 oz. bottles(or 341 millilitres for the metrically challenged) we don't sell "bombers" up here, at least not your defintion of bombers, and not in cases(we have 1118ml bottles that you can buy singles of, but very few brands, and we call those magnums, but that's neither here nor there). we also have 12oz. cans in the above denominations, but they don't actually come in cardboard cases, just multiples of 6 bounded together by plastic rings. we also sell cans in 473, 750, and 950mls. sizes, the latter two coming in singles only. i hope this helps, but it probably just muddies the waters further[:)]

Always shocked by what breweries will do.... Scaldis Prestige is 8x750mL. I guess it does not really matter how you pack it. SP
Ex. At my work we ordered "a Case" of Baltika {Russian beer..quite good} But Our "Case was 20. We shrugged our shoulders, and said mayby its different in Russia. But in America a case is obviously 24. This whole 18 pack,20 pack, etc. is stupid to me. Ex. Its like how candy bars when we were kids were huge......now they are "minis" bad comparasion.....but you get the point.
