  Run of the mill. Didnt enjoy ,tasted to spruced up. Got a free sampler from the distributer. Still was nasty for free. Shipyard has good beers ....just not this one.

  We used to smuggle this back from niagra falls. to Roch. NY. Awsome brew one and a half would get me buzzin. We'd Fill up the trunk and customs would say {long time ago}....anything to declare?......Ummmm no....And im on my way ....XXX rocks.

  Horrible. Grew up on this nasty beer. Loved it back in the day ..lol. I see they've changed the name from Genesee 12 horse ...to high falls 12 horse....You ever been in high Falls....Its The Ghetto....Cheers mates.

  Grew up in Rochester .....where they brew this Horrible beer. I hate to down any brewery but....Genesee had thier day about 80 years ago ....drinking this as my first brew was horrific. They changed/ or have a brewery called JD dungeree {honey brown...etc.} Equally bad. I ve seen the genesee river my whole childhood. Its in the ghetto....They find bodies in there all the time. I hate any genny product. This is a BOLD review but factual not sarcastic at all. My home town Please DO NOT ERASE THIS. If you want a good beer from Rochester Ny. Your SOL. Peace.

  Bought all We had in stock after Katrina. Bummer. A great brown ale. No simpathy reveiw here. I Really love this stuff. Very drinkable for a darker beer. My favorite of their series. Buy all you can folks . I did. Sitting on a six of Turbo,Purple, and amber.....just in case they never brew again......Im sure they will though. Great on tap.Peace.
