I thought I'd managed to retire from posting
Non-Beer Discussion by CROWN
What does this mean "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14' [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'company='Martha's Exchange''. /vault/addbrewery2.asp, line 36 " When I try to add a brewer?

After a spectacular, yet short lived career (think Don Mattingly) I am retiring slowly and quietly into the night. No fanfare, no press conference, no announcement (Mattingly probably made an announcement didn't he) I'm hangin up the posting on beerpal citing irreparable beer habits and a lack of desire to go on. Also, I seem to clash with management. At least I got this thread into the correct forum, that should make someone happy. I don't think I'll make the hallowed hall (much like Donny Mattingly), but I will continue to rate beers and I would like to add a brewer still, and a fine one at that: Martha's Exchange in Nashua, but I've had trouble.

You can't retire yet Crown. You didn't make a formal announcement and nobody's held a press conference for you.
At first I was nervous and worried. I cried a lot. How could I possibly carry on? There was such a huge gaping hole in my life. I was about to quit using the internet altogether. I was also going to give up beer and life. Then there was this one little post that gave me hope! I am putting away the sleeping pills and the toaster I had plugged in next to the bathtub Then I realized, I don't give a ****.

Yep, I laughed. That was funny stuff. But Don Mattingly???? He was a Yankee!!! How about Jim Rice? His career was long, but I think he had some trouble with management and didn't get into the hall. OF course, he's working for the Sox now and Im not sure I like your chances of becoming a BP Crew member at a later date. Now are you retiring or signing on with another team? Looking for more "funds" or unhappy in this market? Is there not enough privacy in the lockerroom?

Well, I dunno Sancho. Sandburg and Jordan are Hall of Famers. Mattingly isn't... Rice at least gets hall of fame votes whenever they vote.
