Ancient Irish Mythology will tell you that The White Hag was a witch, a chameleon creature and even Mother Nature herself. We know she was all that, and more. A spiritual force, from and of the earth. The spirit of Ireland who shaped land itself, present in everything through the pure water of the earth. For centuries the west coast of Ireland had always been a hotbed for beers and potions created from indigenous natural ingredients. Sadly however the tradition had waned, until the resurrection of The White Hag. The White Hag team are fulfilling their ambition to create world-class beers to ancient & local recipes. Hand harvested heather from the renowned Benbulben mountain, peat from the depths of local hallowed ground and powerful oatmeal all contribute to the distinction and strengh of character that The White Hag stands for.
