Who is Hydro Street Brewing Company? Our brewery is in central Wisconsin just outside of Madison, which is thankfully vibrant with craft breweries, and now even distilleries. (the Napa valley of micro beer? love it) Our goal as a small business is first to provide high quality food, beverage, and service to all; and second to support our community. We buy our ingredients from Wisconsin when we can, including grains and hops, we will only be serving tap beer brewed in-house and bottled beer brewed in other fine microbreweries of Wisconsin. [Yes, there are great beers outside of Wisconsin, but since we may be married because of one of the best in MT (Kettle House), which can not distribute outside of the sate, we might as well support those around us]. We are experienced homebrewers of 10 years and will be brewing in a 1 barrel system in-house. (Aaron does the lifting, Sandye does the designing and tasting….good job for a brew goddess). We hope to brew two batches on most days, and are currently only brewing ales. As of now, the beer we will provide include stouts, porters, ESBs, IPAs, pale ales, wheat beers, and herb-based brews, among others. We eventually hope to have up to 10 ever-changing beer on tap, keeping variety and quality beers in circulation, along with featured local homebrewers’ brews and beers in development by us for the more-experienced or -adventurous.
