500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Zwönitzer stein glass a clear rich burgundy coloured Schwarzbier with a two fingers tan and soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, a faint touch of smoke and barnyard and a hint of spice, licorice. The flavour is roasted malts, coffee beans, caramel and cooked vegetables, cabbages. The mouthfeel is crispy and a bit watery. This light to medium bodied Schwarzbier has a dry malty finish. An easy drinkable Schwarzbier from a tiny brewery in the Erzgebirge.

Bottled@Björntasting. Rubyish black colour with small beige head. Aroma is caramel, hops, some slight liquorice and mild mild toasted notes. Flavour is grass, fruits, quite sweetish wooden as well as some mild ashyness. Pleasant and rather different from many other Schwarzbiers.
