At friends place in Moscow. Golden yellow with white head, bit carbonated. Aroma is bittersweer. Bitter sweet with pear taste. Short bittersweet aftertaste. Nice beer (Moscow 201109)

Not sure why I always pick these Eastern-European beers up but I am a sucker for anything new. Aroma is typical to style and is grainy and corn-like with some corn syrup coming through as well as some sweet maltiness. Appearance is a pale-golden color when held to the light with a full and fuzzy head on top that is soapy and white in color and dissipates to lacing. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and a bit boring with no complexity or balance with a palate that is wet-like and watery and a bit thin. Flavor is grainy, corn-like, of sweet malt, and some cardboard with an aftertaste that is crisp with a finish that is watery but not all that bad stylistically speaking. Overall, a bit of a boring brew but would most likely be better fresh and while sitting in Red Square on a Spring day in the heart of Moscow...
