500 ml bottle. Poured in the original Zatec tulip glass a clear deep gold or golden-orange colored Pivo with a one finger white creamy foamy head that had a quite short retention. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate malts, notes of caramel and honey, spicy and floral hops. The flavour slight caramely malts, spices, chili, pepper and floral hops. The mouthfeel is crispy and very smooth. This medium bodied Pivo has a slight bitter finish. A decent Czech Pivo. I ask me why a beer beearing the name of Saaz / Zatec has not a more pronouced hops presence? May be perhaps the destiny of this beer, Export ?
