BOO! Back again and bigger than ever is PIE THIEF! Raising the bar on this annual release, coming in at 12.4%, giving it a larger leg up on its new smaller counterpart, Pie Thief Social. Increasing its grain bill to our mash tuns limits and still utilizing this beer's lengthy boil time, all combined with its signature spice blend, creating an intensely rich drinking pumpkin pie inspired wheat wine. Fall is right around the corner, and boy oh boy does this beer already have us in the mood for carving pumpkins. 12.4% ABV.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Pint can pours with a slightly hazy deep copper to mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up loads of ripe crushed plums, brown sugar stewed cherries, varied winter spices and then a sense of the big ABV with a hit of heat to the tip of the nose. The taste delivers smooth slick sweet malt slicked plum and cherry and fig sweet fruity esters. This is bold and up front sweet fruity esters but they're nicely integrated and tethered to thin rivers of sweet molasses. To midway a mild winter spiciness builds to modest levels along with a growing boozy heat sensation. This creates a pleasing smooth mouth feel as the abundance of fruity esteriness are further contemplated. Solid sipper with restrained booziness for this massive ABV.
