Le Papillon is the French word for butterfly, with significance being that it is both Inman Park’s trademark symbol and origin of Brewmaster Bob’s hometown name. A light-bodied, cloudy, Belgian wheat beer. Made with unmalted wheat, oats, and barley and subtly spiced with Curacao orange peel and coriander. Perfect for warm weather drinking!

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Comes out of the tap a hazy golden with a fine-bubbled white head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma is wheaty and lemony, not strong but OK. Flavor is bolder than what the aroma promises, wheaty and yeasty with a lemon hint. A bit of soap intrudes, but that could be from the glass. Texture is fairly fizzy and firm, going downstairs nicely. Lands on your tongue like a butterfly, and floats down to the tummy. Refreshing and gentle.
