A darned likeable beer. A pilsner without saaz and grass coming out the behind? Two thumbs up. In fact, no saaz at all. Poured a rich golden color with a nice initial head that laced quite well. The aroma was light hops. Flavor was certainly assertive hops, mostly bitterness, not a lot of flavor from the hops, though. In support of the hop factor, there was a nice rich malty backbone that created a great overall beer. Mouthfeel was full, perfectly carbonated.
