For everything there is a season and tradition. That’s why our pumpkin ale, brewed with cacao nibs, ancho, serrano, and habenero chiles with fall spices, is brewed once a year during the onset of autumn. Inspired by the mythos of the ancients, Xibalba (she-bahl-bah) is an otherworldly reminder that seasons are fleeting and to be celebrated.

Pours clear mahogany with a rather thick light tan head. Aroma starts with a malty core and then proceeds to cocoa, spicy, peppery, pumpkin and earthy notes for a cornucopia of mouth-watering scents. Flavor features pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, hot (but not fiery) pepper, cocoa, autumn leaf and toasty malt notes that add up to a very enjoyable brewski. Peppers pop up in the finish, but don’t make your mouth feel like a set from "The Towering Inferno." Mouthfeel presents firm body and good fizz. An otherworldly brew.
