Named after Doug Gilmour, an NHL Hall of Famer who shouldn’t be, but that story is for another time. This is a kolsch. Not my favourite style. This is a very clear beer, pale yellow with a foamy white head. No head retention whatsoever though. Cereal notes dominate the flavour and the aroma with a hint of floral hops to keep it somewhat interesting

Can from local Foodland. Pours a huge foamy, creamy white head and has a pale golden appearance. Some dirty lace remains. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of grains, sweet malt, a bit grassy and very light citrus notes. Flavours are a bit sweet, more of the grainy and grassy notes, subtle citrus and pine notes. Fairly smooth and slick mouthfeel. Not bad.

Pours a golden colour with a slight haze, a big off-white cap, very long lasting with lots of lace. Some mild grains in the smell like the style should be, but more of the hops that take over. So more grassy aromas. This seems to be the same in the taste, so covering up the light grainy malts. Not a fan of the hops used in here, and the amount. For the rest, still a decent crisp, good-looking beer.
