Hefe : Fermentis Trockenhefe Saflager S-189.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

500 ml swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Weyermann glass an unfiltered and hazy copper-brown coloured Steam Beer with a two fingers dense, creamy and feige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, caramel, woody notes and a pronounced hay. The flavour is toasted malts, caramel, light bitter and flowery, violet. The mouthfeel is round, light sweety and overall smooth. The texture is watery. This medium bodied Steam Beer has a dry malty finish. An amazing smoothness on the palate makes this Franconian Steam Beer the try worth !
