A dark amber to brown appearance on the beer. The aroma is a little odd with some cooked veggies and caramel showing through. The flavor is rather sweet with some citrus, caramel, and nutmeg. Overall this beer was ok.

Pours translucent orangey brown with a thin cap. Aromas include caramel, sweet coffee, something toasty, and maybe a faint touch of licorice. Sweet and sour coffee and all the other aromas are present in the beer, plus something earthy and wet, like alfalfa sprouts (not unpleasantly so). On first tasting, this seemed like a mild and lighter version of Oskar Blues' Old Chub. Will have to try more.

I found this to be a spectacular session beer. Pours a copper color with 2 fingers of off white foam. Aroma is sweet caramel and grassy hops. Flavor is sweet caramel and light bready notes, balanced perfectly by a grassy bitter finish. This makes for a very refreshing and quaffable brew.
