As the name suggests, this American Imperial Stout is the foundation of everyone’s favorite, Sunday Morning Stout, with a twist (and without the barrel aging)… This brew captures everything you’d expect from a traditional molé – coffee, chocolate, heat and smokiness. Foremost is coffee, which is followed by layers of chocolate courtesy of the chocolate malt, cocoa powder and cacao nibs. Finally, a subtle lingering heat and smokiness from our blend of ancho, pasilla, mulato and chipotle peppers, as well as cinnamon, which is gone by the time you’re ready for your next sip.

Pours out almost sold black with a tan head. The aroma is of coffee, vanilla and mild chocolate. The mouthfeel is pretty good. The taste has mild coffee but is slightly sweet. With a mild peeper sting on the finish.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Pours deep coffee brown with a thick tan head. Hard to beat! Aroma features cocoa, roast malt and coffee tones plus a hint of pepper. Flavor emphasizes the roast malt and cocoa, while coffee, pepper, and a hint of molasses maintain the background. I don’t mind a little hot spice in my beer - I do mind it when I feel as though I am drinking Sriracha straight from the bottle! Firm mouthfeel offers plenty of fizz. Get your Sunday best here!
