I thought this was a pretty solid beer. The nitro added in the can made this a creamy, foamy copper colored, thick malty beer. It’s a beer I can drink several of and not get hammered since it’s only 5% ABV.

Pours a dark, bubbly amber, approaching mahogany, with a fine-bubbled light buff head. Crisp, malty aroma has a note of fresh apple, nothing spectacular but still inviting. Flavor is malty, a little fruity, enjoyable if not complex - good for a party, or with a meal. Texture is about average, firm and smooth but not a lot of fizz. Definitely mellow.

Also slightly bitter and slightly sweet (butterscotchish). Not quite as much Character as the Caffrey's, but nice enough. I prefer too many sixers for $1.50 per to spend $3 on this again...

pours a nice golden amber, with a huge white head that hangs around for quite a while. The beer has excellent carbonation. it has a nice nutty malty aroma. The taste is a bit bitter but over all had a nice clean finish. I would like to try this beer on draft to see if it's any better.

A cascading pour that results in an amber and burnt-orange with a slightly thick light-tan head and surrounding lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, oranges and citrus, honey, grapes, raisins, and spiciness. The mouthfeel is fairly thin. Flavors of creme caramel malts, hops, orange and citrus, apples, honey, grapes, raisins, and spiciness. Fine brew to pick for my 1000th review and St. Patty's Day!!!

440 ml nitro can with widget, from Rúsan, Tórshavn. ABV is 5%. Deep golden to amber colour, typical nitrogen pour, moderate creamy white head. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch and dark berries. Smooth and creamy nitro mouthfeel. The flavour has again notes of caramel, butterscotch and dark berries, bland in the middle, moderate bitterness in the finish. Not great, but better than I feared.

All around this is a good, solid beer worth having and worth having again. I'll get another one just to hear the widget popping when I open the can! The mouthfeel is very light, but the creamy head brings its own reward. So fun to watch as well, with the cascade of foam giving way to a clean orange beverage. Thanks for the St. Patty's sample, heybeerman!

Very pretty beer, though much of that comes from the nitrogen, it's golden with a hint of orange and brilliantly clear. Aroma is mild, malt and fruit. Mouthfeel is full and buttery, very nice. Flavor is nothing special, a bit of apple, malt and pine.

A deep amber colored beer with a big creamy textured, off white head. Thanks to the nitrogen canister it stays throughout the time, lending a creaminess on the lips. A malty sweetness in the nose. It is a buttery, full bodied beer. That buttery lends it’s own flavors to the straight up sweet maltiness of this pretty good beer.

Tried this once in an airport while waiting for plane. Was actually a pretty good experience for airport beer....usually go with some kind of Samuel Adams if that's the best they have, or Guiness. This was good for a change of pace and probably the first (maybe only) Irish Cream that I had. Was a few years ago, so the details are a little fuzzy, but I'll rate it the best I can. Definitely was a better than average beer. UPDATED 12/9/11- Not as good as I originally thought, but this time sampled from the can. Lowered the appearance, mouthfeel, and overall a point to a 6, but the creamy head texture looks nice. About an average quality beer, maybe slightly above at best.
