Bottom-fermented strong beer made with a mixture of herbs. Prior to the adoption of the German Purity Law in 1516, beers were brewed with different herbal blends, including from those around the monastery and surrounding area. Depending on the selection of herbs, benefits to pleasure and health effects can be experienced. Ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, gruit of bitter herbs: centaury, ground ivy, wormwood, meadowsweet, oak bark, mugwort, bottom-fermenting yeast.
