Pours transparent dark copper with a fairly thick buff head. Malty aroma is not strong and not promising, but offers a little malt. Flavor, happily, provides far more: malty, woody, hoppy and caramel tones. Could that be a hint of hemp? Sorry, they used only the seeds. Firm body has some fizz, and leaves a nice woody finish.

Yes. Of course I had to try this when I saw it on tap at the Wedge in Asheville. Never could pass up a hemp beer when I saw one. Pours a cloudy brown, with a huge beige head. Aroma is natural, herbal, woodsy and candy like. Taste has some soft brown sugar notes, caramel and grass flavors. Filling and unique all at once.

This poured a brown color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, herbal notes, and a bit of citrus. The flavor is both hoppy and malty with caramel and nutty flavor on one side and a citrus bite on the other. All hemp beers I’ve had are a little bit bitter, this is no exception. Overall a pretty good beer.
