Clean and refreshing with a fine balance between malt and hops. This blonde ale lets the delicate complexities of beer shine through. Blonde Ales are in a way the "Hello World" of Craft Beers, and this one will keep the conversation going. Brewer’s Notes Producing a Blonde Ale is a challenge because there are countless good examples and the subtle character of the style leaves little room for imperfections. We chose to show-case local products in our Blonde Ale by using local hops including a mystery hop historically grown in the region early last century.

On tap at Lunenberg Pub, Ottawa. Pours a small amount of foamy head and has a pale golden appearance. Thick sticky lacing. Aromas are mild yeast and light hoppy notes. A little bit of wheats as well. Flavours are actually quite fruity, some citrusy notes and subtle grainy and yeasty hints. Good retention. Average carbonation. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Quite easy to drink.

Slightly hazy light-golden colour with a frothy white cap, good retention and thick foam lace. Fruity grain malts, but not sweet, actually mild. The taste is stronger with the grain and nice fruitiness, citrus notes in the finish. Refreshing mouthfeel with a light dry finish. Pretty good refreshing blonde ale and a great experience for my first from this new local brewery.
