Black in color with dark red and purple hues, this beer lets go of it's dark malt origin in to let the cherries dominate the nose. The dark malt comes take over the initial sip and the sour notes come in gently to transition into a finish with just enough bite to let you know this is a lager. Sour Cherry Black Lager, it's all there. Waller Street finally brewed a lager - sour cherry black lager! The vision is to make a winter sour and the Black Sour Blossom is refreshing yet rich, full bodied yet dry. I think we could be onto something with the idea of a "Winter Sour"

Enjoyed at Crust & Crate Lansdowne. Pours a dark brown colour with a beige head and a little lace. Aromas of roasted malts, syrup sweetness, molasses and dark fruits. Sour tasting with a berry finish. The toasted malts are very mild with a light lingering. A very nice sour fruity dark brew. Quite an awesome twist on the Schwarzbier style.
