500 ml capped bottle, as a 4.8 % ABV, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Wagner Stein glass a clear rich burgundy coloured Schwarzbier with a two fingers beige soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, sourish tones, notes of chocolate and barnyard, a touch of spice, licorice. The flavour is grainy roasted and burned malts,caramel, ashes, floral hops and hints of licorice. The mouthfeel is crispy, sparkling and light bitter. This light bodied Schwarzbier has a long burned malts finish. A very malty Schwarzbier.
